However, Naples and Sorrento have common traits with their traditions and customs.<\/p>\n<p>It is very difficult to say which one it is the best destinaton to spend a vacation. This depends on the tastes of each, and in particular the reasons which are at the base of the trip.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Naples and Sorrento: the main differences<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>However we try to make a list of the main features of the two cities<\/p>\n<p><strong>The strengths of Sorrento<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pleasant climate especially in summer, because of its natural landscapes<\/li>\n<li>suitable for relaxing<\/li>\n<li>City on a human scale<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organization of local tour operators<\/li>\n<li>Excellent resort for couples and seniors<\/li>\n<li>discreet sea but excellent sea in neighboring MassaLubrense<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The weaknesses of Sorrento<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Almost no presence of museums, castles and monuments in general.<\/li>\n<li>town a bit &#8216;monotonous (Sorrento is visible all in one day).<\/li>\n<li>A little expansive.<\/li>\n<li>Meta is not ideal for the young and single.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The strengths of Naples<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>suitable destination for all seasons<\/li>\n<li>cool city \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>City suited to all types of tourists<\/li>\n<li>massive presence of monuments, castles, parks, museums and places of interest<\/li>\n<li>Folklore and strong local identity<\/li>\n<li>Excellent cuisine<\/li>\n<li>very affordable destination. There are many convenients b&amp;b, restaurants and taverns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The weaknesses of Naples<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>town a little &#8216;chaotic<\/li>\n<li>How big cities, the presence of some districts to avoid<\/li>\n<li>In summer climatically less pleasant of Sorrento<\/li>\n<li>Despite being a seaside town, unfortunately not all beaches are safe for swimming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As you can guess the choice to &#8216;take a trip to Naples or Sorrento<\/strong> depends largely on personal by motivations of the tourist.<\/p>\n<p>Sorrento has today a strong brand thanks to the great capacity of local actors to promote their destination efficiently<\/p>\n<p><strong>Napoli began to focus on tourism and the exploitation of its historical and artistic heritage<\/strong> (protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site) only in recent years. Since then neapolitan people see year after year, a very strong increase of tourists on its territory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stop in Naples or Sorrento<\/strong> is a question that often it will spawn foreign tourists. As we said, the choice is dictated by their needs.<\/p>\n<p>However, the choice of one does not exclude the visit the of the other one because the two destinations are well connected to each other.
